There is surfing in Westport, Washington ~1 hour from Olympia. We have a few boards and wetsuits that can be borrowed.

There are tons of fantastic hikes in and around Olympia. To the east of us are the Cascades, and to the west is the Olympic National Park and the coastline. Michael can provide a plethora of hidden gems and wilderness opportunities if you ask him.

The Puget Sound is a great, calm body of water. We have two canoes that can be taken out, as well as access to several kayaks.

Olympia is the capital of Washington, but has a small-town feel when you go downtown. Lots of fun shops to explore.
